People are fast to judge the writings or ideas of others and often times, do not have a thorough comprehension of their own beliefs. Again, I believe this happens to an extent in many situations containing strong beliefs. It is a form of propaganda which has proven to be very useful. Individuals will point out some of these 'extreme' ideas in the Koran to make the public see them in a more negative way.

The sad truth is, people enjoy hating one another. But, most people do not view it in that light. Educated individuals are aware that this group is an extremist faction of this religion, comparable to Christian Cults which have risen up in our country. The biggest factor in our country is that we are primarily Christian and have been 'attacked' by 'Muslims' over the years. I believe this is the same with other religions. For instance, a Christian will never condemn the writing in the New Testament the way they would the Koran. What I mean is, the Hebrew Bible, The New Testament, and the Koran can all be viewed negatively based on content. Then I started thinking about more and my opinion is that looking at all of these texts we have studied is the same. When I read the paragraph describing this blog topic, I was a little confused about what I should write about.
